Atrium is a medical learning game where you solve patient cases to build diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills. It's designed to help you think like a doctor through daily, case-based practice.
Atrium is for anyone who wants to improve their clinical reasoning — from medical students to experienced doctors. It’s not tied to any specific exam or curriculum.
You’re scored based on how accurately you diagnose and manage each case. Your goal is to make correct, efficient, and safe decisions — just like in real life.
You can play up to 5 free cases per day. If you want to go beyond that, you can subscribe or unlock more using in-game coins.
Each case ends with a structured breakdown of key learnings, pitfalls to avoid, and flashcards for review — helping you retain and apply what you've learned.
If you solve at least one case a day, you maintain a streak. Longer streaks earn trophies, coins, and XP. Miss a day, and your streak resets — unless you’ve used a Streak Freeze.
Trophies are awarded for consistent streaks, mastering specialties, and hitting key milestones. They’re a mark of your clinical progress and commitment.
You level up by solving more cases and earning trophies. You’ll progress through medical ranks starting as an Intern, eventually becoming a Super Specialist as you consistently play and improve.
Yes. Atrium includes weekly leagues where you’re ranked based on XP earned. Top performers move up, while others drop down — like a season-based leaderboard.
Atrium isn’t about choosing the best option from a list. It simulates real clinical reasoning — reading a case, ordering tests, making a diagnosis, and managing a patient. It’s immersive, fast-paced, and built for skill-building.
